Given by ASM Group (now Global Sources Ltd.) for editorial excellence within its family of publications, I won both writer of the year and editing team of the year during my three years at Computer Sources.

Broad and Deep Experience

Managing Editor, The Magazine Group
Produced BizTech, a quarterly magazine for information technology managers at small businesses. Responsible for generating article ideas, assigning and editing features, writing features, and working with production department through design, layout and printing.

Executive Editor/National Editor, Electronic Business
Held a series of high-level editorial positions at this monthly magazine for senior management at electronics companies. Helped create and implement new editorial focus and style for the publication. Oversaw editorial and production processes, including managing a staff of seven writers and editors as well as freelancers. Initiated coverage of national technology policy and legislative issues by establishing the Washington bureau. Wrote features and news analysis pieces on a broad variety of topics. Assigned and edited features. Wrote editorial commentaries.

Senior Editor, Computerworld
Launched and honed editorial focus of a new section on finance and investing for this weekly newspaper for information systems managers. Wrote features, assigned and edited features, and guided writers in their reporting.

Technology Editor, Computer Sources
